Your support of the Museum’s conservation work helps us ensure that the most precious artifacts in the Kansas City Museum’s collection are professionally cared for by our outstanding team of curatorial specialists and conservationists. We have commissioned a conservator’s report on the winning artifact, and will proceed with conservation work soon. The preserved artifact will find its way into our galleries when the Museum is fully restored. View photos of the artifacts in disrepair. >>

As a supporter of the Museum’s artifact collections, you’ll be participating in a behind-the-scenes but highly critical activity – stewardship of the collections.
The results of your gift will be visible to the public through the Kansas City Museum’s future exhibitions, publications and Web site.
Conservation of this artifact is expected to cost several thousand dollars. This work falls outside the Museum's operating budget and is supported entirely by private contributions.
You may support the conservation of this important artifact with a tax-deductible contribution that will go directly toward the conservation work. We are grateful for your consideration of this critical need and, as always, appreciate your support and patronage of the Friends of Kansas City Museum.
